The Life of Jesus

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.  Luke  2:11

For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 1 Cor 4:11

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This He said, signifying what death He should die. John 12:32-33

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. John 11:25-26

Who (Jesus) was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Romans 4:25

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus

Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3

The above verses show us full picture of the life of Jesus that we celebrate in various ways and times each year. We also celebrate many aspects of Jesus life and teachings! As we look at Jesus’ immaculate conception, His birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection we have many reasons to rejoice in God’s Gift to mankind.

At this time of the year, we focus on the Birth of Jesus Christ our Savior, thankful for God’s Gift to mankind as it fulfilled His Promise that was given in the beginning. This leads us to think, meditate and worship with praise and glory unto The Father for the sake of His Son.

These times of celebrating the majestic work of God to us, causes us to think and consider the important things of life & death, (“to live is Christ; to die is gain!”) and Eternal Life (“And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.”). For it is written: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:7-8

Because we live in Him and He in us we are privileged to have the abundant life! For Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10    Thanks be unto God our Father for His wondrous love!

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen. Jude 214-25
